Todays apprentices and trainees  will play an important role in the future development and prosperity of the Great Southern Region. Employers can benefit from the energy and enthusiasm of a young working person. In turn an apprentice or trainee will benefit from the solid start to a productive career that an employer can offer them. Some businesses may not be  in a position to make a long-term commitment to on-the-job training and employment, or oversee training with an RTO as well as do all the employment related paperwork involved. clock

This is where ATC WORK SMART can help. We employ the trainee or apprentice and the host employer provides on-the-job training for as long as they are able. The apprentice is an employee of ATC WORK SMART and we take care of all the administrative work involved in hiring and employing . The "host" employer pays ATC WORK SMART for an hourly charge-out rate that covers the apprentice or trainee wages and on costs. This gives the employer more time to focus on getting on with the job.

ATC WORK SMART then pays the apprentice or trainee and administers all of the associated paperwork, such as superannuation, PAYE taxes, pay slips, group certificates, workers compensation and public liability premiums.
