ATC Work Smart is a leading provider of Apprentice and Trainee employment services in WA. We are an incorporated not-for-profit community based organisation that began Group Training operations in November 1987 and now provides Group Training, Labour hire, Recruitment, Administrative Support and Registered Training Organisation services to industry in the Great Southern, Southwest, Midwest and Perth Metro area. Our underpinning objective is to create employment and training opportunities for apprentices and trainees and provide businesses with the opportunity to have access to apprentices and trainees.

Due to continued growth we have an exciting opportunity available to join our superstar GTO team in Perth. We are looking for a hardworking and friendly personable applicant with a ‘can do’ attitude. This position will be influential to the growth of our business and the development of skilled workers required for a strong and healthy economy. 


Key responsibilities

  • Recruitment, selection and mentoring of apprentices and trainees

  • Provide support to apprentices/trainees and employers to assist in retention and completion of training contracts

  • Maintain communications between key stakeholders including schools, host employers, training providers and employee’s

  • Identify and market traineeship and apprenticeship opportunities to new and existing clients

  • Establish networks with key stakeholders including schools, local government and employers

  • Assist as necessary with the promotion of ATC Work Smart at Career Expo’s and events

  • A commitment to excellence in customer service


About you

  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills

  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills

  • High level of attention to detail

  • Strong relationship building/business development and presentation skills

  • Must be dedicated and driven to achieve business objectives

  • Good computer skills

  • Ability to work autonomously

  • Ability to work and meet deadlines

  • The ability to obtain a Working with Children Card

  • A current ‘C’ class motor vehicle drivers licence
