Yes! If you're in Year 10, 11 or 12, you may be eligible for a school-based traineeship.

Nope! Having work experience isn’t a requirement. However, any work experience you have — even just a little — can help you stand out. It shows you're motivated, serious about your future, and already building the skills employers are looking for.

• Cover letter and up to date resume (name, date of birth, contact details etc..)
• Copies of any employer references, driving licence and white card (if available)
• Details of any training attended or completed (Pre-Apprenticeship etc..)
Not sure what to put in your resume or cover letter?
No stress — we’re not expecting loads of work experience. You can include things like:
• Helping out with family chores (babysitting, mowing the lawn, dog walking)
• Playing team sports or being part of a club
• Volunteering, mentoring, or leadership roles at school
• Any skills you’ve picked up (teamwork, time management, being reliable)
It’s all about showing us who you are and what you bring to the table.
