A building and construction apprenticeship is a great way to get your career started in the industry.
You’ll work on real jobs, learn from experienced tradies, and study at TAFE or a training provider. Most apprenticeships take about four years to complete.

Apprenticeships are available in:
Carpentry – gain skills in framing, roofing, and interior carpentry, working with wood
Painting & Decorating - learn to apply paint, wallpaper, and other finishes to surfaces
Mechanical – gain skills in fitting and repairing machinery, working with tools and metalwork
Electrical – learn to install and maintain electrical systems, ensuring safe and reliable power
Plumbing – learn to Install, maintain and repair water, gas, and drainage systems
Bricklaying - build and repair brick structures, including walls and foundations
Other Trades include – civil construction, cabinetmaking, tiling, glazing, wall and ceiling lining, roofing and shopfitting
