Ageing or Disability?

We offer two distinct pathways to choose from: 

Aged Care

Make a meaningful difference in the lives of older people.

Support older people to live with dignity, comfort and independence. You’ll provide personal and practical care, from everyday tasks and outings to companionship and support that enhances quality of life.

Disability

Help people build confidence, independence and connection.

Support people with disability to develop everyday skills, achieve their personal goals and participate in their homes and communities. You’ll provide practical support while helping people build independence, confidence and meaningful connections.

Course Highlights

  • Total Course Duration: 23 weeks (classroom + work placement)

  • Study Mode: Face-to-face classroom learning and workplace placement

       As part of this course, you will engage in:

  • 17 weeks of classroom training: Face-to-face theory and practical activities (2 days per week).

  • Support workshops: Additional study sessions to help you throughout your learning.

  • 6 weeks of local work placement: 120 hours of organised, real-world industry experience.

  • Practical training: Hands-on practice with modern equipment like hoists, beds, and wheelchairs.

  • Full resource access: All required learning materials are proudly supplied by ATC Work Smart.

Course fees for Bunbury 5th October intake: $3,600

  • Pay in full upfront and receive a 10% discount ($3,240 total)

  • Or use a payment plan: $400 due at enrolment, then 11 fortnightly payments of $291.00

This intake is offered on a fee-for-service basis. All students, including visa holders, must have the legal right to study in Australia and meet any relevant visa conditions. Eligibility is confirmed during enrolment, including a visa check where required. While the same study rights and visa requirements apply, some visa holders may be able to access this course at lower fees than are typically charged for non-subsidised training. Contact us to discuss your eligibility and fee options.

Please note that official enrolments and fee-free/subsidised training places are subject to final WA Government funding approvals for 2027.
