This Traineeship will give you the skills to get your sneakers in the door in the sport and recreation industry, in a broad range of workplaces and roles.

Through on the job training, you will develop knowledge of the sports industry and relevant workplace industry skills. You will learn about the preparation of resources and equipment required to run sport and recreation sessions, how to conduct these sessions, coach participants, provide first aid and how to deal with clients.

The sport and recreation industry offers a range of pathways and careers that impact positively on people's health and wellbeing. Employment can be part time, casual or seasonal this isn't your typical nine-to-five office job.

Traineeships can be school-based, part time or full-time, you will work in a sport and recreation setting and study either, Certificate II in Sport and Recreation or Certificate III in Sport and Recreation.
